1.What are the commonly done tests under full body checkups?

2.Are there any precautions to be taken before Full body checkups?
Your Laboratory or your physician will give you adequate information before performing tests. It is ideal to take an appointment before doing tests, where you will be informed to do tests after a optimal meal the previous night and usually 6 hrs of fasting will suffice.
3.What is the usual illness that can be detected by full body checkups?
Diabetes is usually asymptomatic and can be detected by preventive checkups
Decrease in Hemoglobin is a good indicator to either menstrual irregularities or bleeding from lesions in organs which usually goes undetected until till late stages.
Chronic kidney ailments are usually detected by deranged serum creatinine and blood urea.
An abnormal lipid profile can give a good indication to your cardiac wellness, but it has to be interpreted by your cardiologist in lieu with clinical findings
Full body checkups can include tumour markers in the elderly. These can help in alleviating symptoms and help in early detection of cancers like prostate and Colonic cancers.
